Enhanced Syngas

Synthesis gas co-produced during pyrolysis, used for process energy recovery and future chemical upgrading pathways.

Pyrolysis produces valuable synthesis gas alongside solid carbon products.

Syngas is a key co-product of our Gravity Series process. It is currently used to sustain the pyrolysis reaction and generate process heat, with future potential for chemical upgrading.

Key features

Combustible synthesis gas

Syngas produced during pyrolysis is a mixture of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and light hydrocarbons suitable for thermal energy recovery.

Process integration

Syngas is recirculated within the Gravity Series plant to sustain the pyrolysis reaction, reducing external energy inputs to near zero.

Future upgrading potential

Syngas composition supports future pathways including hydrogen separation, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, and methanol production.
